Sublimation

Sublimation is used only on light materials (white, light gray), because the printing ink penetrates directly into the threads, which with other shades would change the color of the design.

For our print to appear at all, we have to make it on clothing made of polyester. Garments made of 100% polyester work best, but garment decoration is also possible with a lower polyester content. In that case, however, we have to accept lower color intensity and poorer design quality.

With sublimation we can use graphics of all kinds; the quality of the print is photographic, tonal transitions are possible, and the number of colors used does not affect the price. Sublimation (just like DTG) is the best choice for designs made from photographs.

It is an ideal method for sportswear. Our design can be printed across the entire surface of the garment, the fabric will breathe (unlike, for example, with screen printing) and it will not be noticeable to the touch, so our clothing will still be stretchy. Clothing with a print made using the sublimation method can be washed at high temperatures without any concerns.

This method works well for both small and large runs. Production is possible from a single piece, and the customer bears no print preparation costs (as with screen printing). The final price is affected by the size of the print and the size of the order.

How is sublimation created? First, the design of our pattern is applied to a special transfer paper, from which the ink then passes onto the polyester material under sufficiently high temperature and pressure. If we are making a print on ceramics, a polyester varnish has to be applied underneath the print as well.
