Logotypes

By definition, a logotype is a graphic form that identifies a company, organization, product, service, event or undertaking. In most cases it is an interpretation of the sound of the name. A logo, on the other hand, is a graphic form of presenting a brand, service, company, etc. So a logotype usually consists of two parts: the symbol — the graphic form — and the logotype, that is, the name in graphic form. A logo often also includes an advertising slogan, the year of founding, or a slogan that characterizes the company. This is called a tagline.
