WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is an independent global certification program established in 2000 to promote safe, lawful, humane, and ethical working conditions in manufacturing facilities. To achieve certification, a production plant must successfully pass an audit demonstrating compliance with 12 core principles. These criteria include the strict prohibition of forced and child labor, compliance with health and safety regulations, non-discrimination, fair compensation and benefits, freedom of association, as well as adherence to environmental protection standards and customs laws.

The program is globally recognized, with textile and apparel manufacturers forming a substantial portion of participating facilities seeking to validate their ethical practices. Based on the facility's level of compliance and management systems, WRAP awards one of three certification tiers: Silver (valid for 6 months), Gold (valid for 12 months), or Platinum (valid for 24 months). Holding WRAP certification serves as a critical selection criterion in the promotional apparel supply chain, guaranteeing ethical product sourcing.
